Tried these on in my local OR store and sizing was way off. I'm a 34 waist in OR five pockets but had to go down to a 32 waist in these shorts. Unfortunately, to get the waist to fit, the thigh opening was way too slim for me. I tried on a few more pairs just to make sure this wasn't a one off, but ran into the same issue. For reference, I'm a pretty average 6'/180lbs. At least the sizing is consistent, even if it is a little off. I like that these are mostly-cotton and the inseam is perfect. OR produces some really great clothing, unfortunately these shorts are a miss.
Ordered a 32 for my boyfriend - 32 is his average size - on a whim and these were too big for him. I had to return them, and did not order a smaller size. They seem a little pricey too.
