A Morning with PGA Tour Pro, Brendon Todd, and his son, Oliver

When did you know that golf was your passion and could be your career?

When I was 13 I made my second hole in one and beat my 17 year old brother with a 68. That’s when I really knew I was a good player and wanted to play professional golf!

What has been your most memorable
tour moment?

Winning my second PGA tour event
at the Bermuda Championship was a huge step back to continuing my PGA Tour career and is one that ranks at the top of the list for me.

Do you have a pre-tournament routine?

These days my pre-tournament routine involves some work in the gym to get moving, a good meal and an hour of golf warmup. Boring but that’s what it takes to compete against the young players these days.

What is the best part of being able to play a round with your son, Oliver?

The best part of playing golf with my son Oliver is watching him put his talent to use hitting amazing shots and putts. I also enjoy the laughs we have and the opportunity to help him understand how to get the most of his skills and shoot a good score.

We know Oliver has a go-to pre or post-round meal (penne with marinara), do you?

Oliver loves his pasta with marinara sauce, I love chicken or steak with sweet potatoes and salad. On the course it’s usually a Banana on the front nine and a Macro Bar on the back nine.
