Store Manager - Clemson

Overview

The Store Manager – Clemson position is to lead a team and mange store operations for our location in the heart of Clemson, SC. This role will grow our community brand presence. The store manager will ensure we attract and hire people who contribute to our company’s growth and development and represent the Onward Reserve lifestyle. They will partner directly with the office and warehouse teams daily as well as store managers at our other Onward Reserve locations. This position is full time with flexible hours, including some holidays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivates and inspires associates to find new and creative ways to drive profitable sales and overall team performance.
  • Demonstrates first in class customer service to lead team by example and build customer relations and retention.
  • Plan in store events and be an ambassador of Onward Reserve.
  • Delivers a dynamic, positive, and omni-channel sales floor experience that builds brand loyalty, customer engagement, and drives sales.
  • Focuses on building client relationships and community engagement to build repeat customers and gain new customer acquisition.
  • Takes ownership of maintaining & refreshing merchandising presentations to drive product sell-through and feature new products as well as products with large inventory commitments.
  • Recruits and develops a high performing team that holds themselves accountable through motivating, transparent and candid communication.
  • Partners with the store operations team to share insights with other managers and inform the office teams of product and customer feedback to continually drive improvements to the overall customer experience.
  • Creates an environment of inclusivity and fun to maintain team morale and retain our top talent.
  • Encourages store associates to provide feedback, share merchandising ideas, and brainstorm new outreach efforts to engage in building the local business for the store as a collective team effort.
  • Regularly educates team on new products, company directives and goals.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
  • 3+ Years Retail Supervisor experience in similar volume (or equivalent)
  • Holidays, nights, and weekend availability to support the needs of the business
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office & strong working knowledge of POS
  • Proven track record of hiring, training & managing a team
  • Must demonstrate superior communication skills

Brand Experience Specialist

Overview

The Brand Experience Specialist position is designed to support the needs of Onward Reserve's customers by ensuring they have an authentic and positive experience throughout their entire purchasing journey. The main role of the Brand Experience Specialist is to deliver first class support and develop lasting customer relationships. The role is the main point of contact for our customers and is a direct liaison with our internal support teams. The ideal candidate has a proven history of strong customer service, sales experience and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

  • The first to respond to customers, this role will communicate accurately, professionally, and efficiently. Communication will be verbally, by email and chat where applicable. Our goal is always to exceed customer expectations by providing first in class service utilizing problem solving skills and available resources.
  • Engage and optimize each customer’s experience by demonstrating patience and compassion; prioritize your customer’s needs.
  • Customized client outreach for more selling opportunities and customer relationship building.
  • Maintain and enhance customer relationships by building trust and resolving product related concerns promptly and completely.
  • Learn about the latest product releases and approaching launches to provide tailored recommendations for new products based on customer preferences.
  • Identify and resolve account issues & inquiries related to product orders, deliveries, credits, returns, and exchanges. Proactively share information with the team to determine process improvements where possible.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal partners to share suggestions for new products requested & any quality assurance callouts from customers.
  • Research fulfillment and shipping concerns; liaise with distribution teams to resolve any issues.
  • Assist with execution for any customer customization needs and custom projects.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, sales-related or retail preferred.
  • Experience in E-Commerce and/or online marketing and merchandising is a plus.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office required.
  • Experience with Apparel Magic or Shopify is a plus.
  • Must demonstrate a superior customer service focus, telephone etiquette, and effective verbal, written, and keyboard skills.

Warehouse Specialist

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Overview

The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for supporting Onward Reserve’s distribution processes for all sales channels. Fulfillment, receiving and stocking product, resolving and mitigating order issues, supporting the returns process are all key components to the position. The daily workflow will vary day to day depending on current business needs. Flexibility to pivot priorities at the direction of the warehouse manager to support priorities is critical. Onward Reserve is a growing company with a fast paced, team-oriented environment. A key function of this role will be communication and partnership cross functionally to keep the team updated on receiving timelines for seasonal, collegiate, core, custom, and third-party product deliveries. As our distribution continues to grow, continued innovation on processes and methods of enhancing efficiencies in processes is a focus to ensure our team continues to evolve and prepare for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack and ship order needs along with the other distribution team members to keep order flow consistent and with a quick turnaround.
  • Support daily receiving needs for checking the shipment and put away.
  • Communicate to the team timing of systemic receipts once product has arrived and any anticipation of delays or issues.
  • Process returns and resolve order issues.
  • Cycle count inventory to maintain inventory accuracy and reduce order issues.
  • Should any quality issues arise during the receiving process, document the problem with example images (where applicable) and the style/color/sizes impacted to the appropriate teams for design, production, and inventory.
  • Support restock needs from overflow backstock in our containers or other Bennett Street locations.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
