Overview

The Store Manager – Highlands position is to lead a team and manage store operations for our new location in Highlands, NC. This role will grow our community brand presence. The store manager will ensure we attract and hire people who contribute to our company’s growth and development and represent the Onward Reserve lifestyle. They will partner directly with the office and warehouse teams daily as well as store managers at our other Onward Reserve locations. This position is full time with flexible hours, including some holidays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivates and inspires associates to find new and creative ways to drive profitable sales and overall team performance.
  • Demonstrates first in class customer service to lead team by example and build customer relations and retention.
  • Plan in store events and be an ambassador of Onward Reserve.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
  • 3+ Years Retail Supervisor experience in similar volume (or equivalent)

  • Proven track record of hiring, training & managing a team

Product Designer

Position Overview

Onward Reserve is looking for a Product Designer to create on-brand men's product that meet our brand vision and long-term strategy. They will work closely with our lead designer, merchants and vendors to develop and create products that meet the desired aesthetic and pricing
parameters.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Draw, design, and develop new apparel samples, and create and turn in documentation worksheet and manufacturing plan.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss designs and line development, and present and review line and concepts regularly.
  • Identify new style opportunities relevant to Onward Reserve's customer base through market research. 
  • Develop ideas for new products based on research data and collaborate with the Design Team on execution
  • Test and decide on fabrics, colors, patterns and textures for each design.
  • Maintaining corporate standards for bulk production.
  • Assist team with communicating to vendors on design, production, and other issues as needed.
  • Understand retail pricing, sell-thru and demand


Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of prior experience in fashion design or product development for a lifestyle brand

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Attention to detail and artistic ability
    to transform a design from an idea into a physical illustration and
    then, eventually, to a prototype on which the finished product will be
    based. 
  • A strong sense of style, color and fabric.
  • Creativity: you must be able to generate ideas for products that fit with the Onward Reserve brand and lifestyle.
  • Ability to collaborate well with others coupled with specific experience in design. 
  • Ability to develop new products with
    the conceptual thinking to avoid potential issues in garment
    construction and meet pricing parameters. A strong knowledge of woven
    and knit fabrics and garments and have a good eye for fashion. 
  • Strong knowledge of quality, make, and production integrity appropriate for Onward Reserve product.
  • Sound thinking necessary to accomplish
    detailed, complex tasks, as well as the ability to anticipate potential
    problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal
    communication skills are required to communicate effectively with
    internal colleagues, management and vendors.

Assistant Manager - Peachtree Battle

The Store Operations & Inventory Associate – Peachtree Battle, position is to support the store manager in leading a team and managing store operations for our location in our Atlanta, GA flagship store. This role will report to the store manager and be primarily focused on the store inventory and operations. This role will lead the store team in the absence of the store manager and support the day-to-day business operation. This position is full time with flexible hours, including some holidays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Focuses on inventory accuracy, e-comm fulfillment from store stock, stock room management and replenishing store stock.
  • Manage the inventory receipts both the physical stock processing as well as systemically.
  • Regularly process inventory cycle counts.
  • Supports the development of a dynamic, positive, and omni-channel sales floor experience that builds brand loyalty, customer engagement, and drives sales.
  • Maintain the sizing on the floor from back stock to continue to efficiently turn product.
  • Routinely refreshes the merchandising presentation to drive product sell-through and feature new products as well as products with large inventory commitments.
  • Regularly cleans shelves, tables, & stock room along with any other areas needing attention.

Brand Experience Specialist

The Brand Experience Specialist position is designed to support the needs of Onward Reserve's customers by ensuring they have an authentic and positive experience throughout their entire purchasing journey. The main role of the Brand  Experience Specialist is to deliver first class support and develop lasting customer relationships! The role is the main point of contact for our customers and is a direct liaison with our internal support teams. The ideal candidate has a proven history of strong customer service, sales experience and relationship building! 

Key Responsibilities

  • The first to respond to customers, this role will communicate accurately, professionally, and efficiently.  Communication will be verbally, by email and chat where applicable. Our goal is always to exceed customer expectations by providing first in class service utilizing problem solving skills and available resources.
  • Engage and optimize each customer’s experience by demonstrating patience and compassion; prioritize your customer’s needs.

  • Maintain & contribute to merchandising and visual presentations set by corporate and the store manager.
  • Respond to specific customer inquiries for email, phone and in person.
  • Assist customers with returns and exchanges.
  • Support the store manager with any event setup needs, working events & holiday support.
  • Always contribute to creating an environment of inclusivity and fun to maintain team morale.
  • Take constructive feedback well and work to improve performance and be a team player.
  • Become an expert on product knowledge of the Onward Reserve assortment and third party vendor offering.
  • Use free time as an opportunity to clean, tidy, restock, and focus on customer outreach.
  • Regularly educates team on new products, company directives and goals.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred.
  • 2+ Years retail experience in similar volume (or equivalent).
  • Holidays, nights and weekend availability to support the needs of the business.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office & strong working knowledge of POS.
  • Must demonstrate superior communication skills.
