Not true to size

I bought two shirts at the same time, on sale. Both were a XXL. This particular shirt is a good 6 inches shorter than the other one that was more true to size and fit perfect. Unfortunately, I was not able to return it because it was on sale. Generally I would accept that but when you order two things the same size and there is this much of a drastic size difference, it’s disappointing that you cannot return it. This shirt is defective so if you are thinking about buying it I wouldn’t. You’ll be out $70 or more.
