Looks great but sizing seems inconsistent

I am 5'11 and normally wear medium for most of my clothing. Now Onward is a go to me for and will remain that way but I definitely feel like this brand is on the lower tier for sizing regulations. Size guide on this website isn't very accurate to the product you receive (I would recommend shopping exclusively in stores). Now, I like this polo a lot, it is one of the more unique items in my closet and is very versatile. It is not a polo I wear by itself due to the unflattering boxy fit but I can infer that any classic polo trends towards a classic build.
