Roper Boot - Cognac

I was looking to replace a 20 year old pair of Red Wing Pecos. Like Red Wing, these boots run slightly larger than my normal 11 boots. I ordered 11's and went through an easy exchange process with Onward. My new 10.5's fit perfectly, so use that for what it's worth. The leather is from Brazil, both upper and lower, seems durable enough for everyday wear. Though I enjoy a leather sole, the vibram sole on these boots is just enough traction without being a lug sole. I appreciate the traction these days. The boots are comfortable out of the box, so not as much break in period. Time will tell, but I love these boots out of the box. Lastly, if you ever deal with the Onward associates on the phone, you will be pleasantly surprised by cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable people that are eager to please. My exchange was seamless and the delivery was quick for the original and replacement orders. If you are looking for a $125 pair of ropers, these boots are not for you. You will get what you pay for. Ridiculously over-priced. You can find a great pair of ropers for $125 or possibly less. Why you ripping people off Onward ?
