Braswell Blazer

Being prone to wear a sports coat when I can, this jacket gives a very modern preppy twist on the sports coat, which still looks smart, yet is somewhat more functional without being pretentious. some people have commented that it runs large, but nobody really wants a jacket they can wear all day that is so forfeiting that it’s uncomfortable. If you’re used to Barber jackets or other quilted outdoor hunting gear, this is similar yet slightly better fitting than those without being restrictive— though the fabric is not of hunting weight.

The website warns to size down, I’ve had other OR jackets that have been too small so stuck with the L…should’ve listened to the site. If you get the right size, it is a very nice jacket, lightweight but warm

I purchased the Braswell Blazer and the fit was very large. I own a number of vests and jackets and each one is different in size but still fit. I bought this jacket on final sale but I would think the company would have a better customer service department. It took numerous emails just to get a response and when I finally received one they were not willing to help. I thought highly of this brand but onward reserve has lost a customer.

I loooove the concept of a casual jacket with a sports coat cut. However, this one is a bit boxy (needs to be more tailored or have straps you could fasten to tighten around the waist) and it runs very big. I also think the lapel should match the quilted pattern of the main part of the jacket, and not be smooth. Keep more of these coming! Thanks!

I was excited for this jacket until it arrived. The jacket is cut like a square and seems almost as wide as it is tall. I ordered a small and the fit is very boxy and square. Sleeves are wide and the cuffs are loose. This is my first order with onward reserve outside of T-Shirts and I’m not impressed. I tried to return it only to find out it’s not returnable. Stuck with a jacket I’ll never wear.
